I know it’s been a while since I have written. I had a dinner party on January 3rd, and I think it went rather well! Here was the menu:
Appetizers: chicken liver pate with crackers, stuffed mushrooms served with various wines and champagne, with a lemonade caipirinha punch
First Course: Mixed green salad with olive oil vinaigrette
Main Course: Chicken Cordon Bleu (Slow Cooker Version) with Wild and White Rice and Roasted Vegetables
Dessert: Three Mini Cakes: Snickerdoodle Cake, Chocolate Cake with Toffee Filling, and Lemon Cake with Lemon Curd and Limoncello
I will include the recipes later – I thought I had them on my school computer, but they must be at home!
